Review by hotel critic
Situated just a short stroll from the Spagna Metro Station, the property is ideally placed to access Rome's main attractions, making it easy to get around. The two-bedroom suite was clean and modern, with all the essential amenities like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, which made our downtime enjoyable. While I wouldn't label it as luxury per se, the contemporary updates were a pleasant surprise, all set within a charming 300-year-old building. Our host, Manolo, was consistently attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed right from the start with complimentary wine and chocolates. His assistance in arranging airport transfers and last-minute tours added value to our stay. Lastly, having access to a shared kitchen with coffee facilities was handy. The breakfast spots nearby, especially the pastry café, offered delicious local flavors and provided a perfect start to our days. If you're looking for a blend of value and convenience, Barcaccia offers practical options without breaking the bank.
